Lessons are once per week.

How long are lessons?
We offer 30, 45, and 60 minute weekly lessons. 45 minute lessons is the best option for most students. Advanced students may benefit from longer 60 minute lessons. 30 minute lessons are good for very young students or those seeking a more affordable option.

How much do lessons cost?
Weekly 30m lessons = $130-180/mo (varies by teacher)
Weekly 45m lessons = $195-270/mo (varies by teacher)
Weekly 60m lessons = $260-360/mo (varies by teacher)
PLEASE NOTE:  Tuition reserves a weekly appointment with your teacher, it does not buy a specific number of lessons per month.

When are lessons available?
We offer lessons Monday-Friday. Lesson availability depends on individual teacher schedule. Most lessons are 3-7pm, but some lessons may be offered earlier or later. We try to fit in homeschoolers before 4pm.

What ages do you teach?
We teach all ages. About 80% of our students are children and about 20% are adults. It is never too late to start!

How is tuition paid?
Tuition is charged automatically to your payment method on file on the first day of each month (prepaid). The initial month is prorated if you start after the first week of the month. By default, tuition is paid via ACH (direct bank payment). Credit card payments incur a 3% payment processing fee.

Is tuition the same price every month?
Yes, after your starting month, tuition is always the same amount regardless of the number of lessons in a month. Some months have 5 lessons, and some have 3 due to holidays. In a given year, you will receive an average of about 4 lessons per month. 

If I miss a lesson, do I receive a refund or lesson credit?
In order to maintain a consistent income for our teachers, we use a 'subscription' billing model. One month of tuition reserves a weekly appointment with your teacher at the same time and day each week. If given ample notice in advance, teachers may agree to reschedule a lesson, but are not obligated to do so, and are not always able to.

Are payments secure?
Yes, payments are processed through Stripe, one of the largest payment processors in the country.

Is there a long term contract?
No. Lessons are month to month and you may unenroll at any time by emailing us at billing@brenhammusicacademy.com.

Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds. 

What is your cancellation policy?
Students do not receive make-up lessons for missed appointments. If notified the week before, the teacher may agree to reschedule a lesson at their discretion, but they are not obligated to do so. For some teachers, rescheduling is not possible due to busy schedules and/or long commutes.

Is there an enrollment fee?
Yes, the enrollment fee is currently $50.

Do you offer a free trial lesson?
Yes we do. If you decide not to enroll after your trial lesson, you do not need to pay the enrollment fee.

What is the recommended age to begin instruction?
Piano - 4 years and older
Guitar - 8 years and older
Drums - 6 years and older
Voice - 6 years and older
Preschool class - 3-6 years old

Do I communicate with my teacher or school administrator regarding scheduling?
Following enrollment, your teacher will be your primary contact for weekly scheduling matters. The school administrator will be your primary contact for billing and school events.
